    Title:
    IOS 9 Wi-Fi Calling
    Content:

Will Sasktel be supporting wi-fi calling with IOS 9. Supporting this should help with network congestion. It seems that Rogers is supporting this with the launch of IOS 9.

    SaskTel Support

    Hi Andrew,

SaskTel currently does not offer or support Wi-Fi voice calling on any devices (including the launch of iOS 9), but is evaluating the possibility of offering it in the future.

Hopefully Sasktel supports it in the future.

Hopefully this happens soon as I am considering switching providers to be able to access wifi calling. Currently I have strong wifi at my cottage and a very weak intermittent cellular signal. This is more of a safety issue to me ( i.e. Ability to contact emergency services) than convenience.

I hope it happens soon as well. I thought wifi calling would be available shortly after Sasktel launched Sasktel Select Wifi. It would help with network congestion with wifi calling available.
